1. DEADLINES: See page 1 for deadlines. Missed deadlines will move your application to the waitlist. The BCCA will send vendor approval notices within 15 business days of the APPLICATION DEADLINE. Upon Approval, payment in full is due by PAYMENT DEADLINE. If the payment deadline is missed, the spot will be opened to someone on the wait list.
2. SELECTION PROCESS: Most of the Fair will be booked with local Artisan/Craft vendors with handcrafted, handmade, up cycled or locally sourced products. The remainder of spots will be filled with other vendor types. The Organizers reserve the right to turn down an applicant for reasons not limited to duplication of product or service; limited site space; product or service not deemed appropriate for venue; or conflict with sponsors.
3. UNLOADING AND PARKING: Vendors will be unable to drive their vehicles onto the fairgrounds to unload. Vehicles will need to be unloaded from the main parking lot. Vehicles MUST be moved to designated vendor parking area by 9:30am. A shuttle will be provided to return vendors back to the grounds.
4. SET UP TIME: Set up time will begin at 8:00am on Saturday September 6th. Vendors must be operational by 10am. Tear down time is 4pm. We ask you to please not pack up early.
5. STALL SPACE: This will be an OUTDOOR event. Vendors are responsible for providing their own weather protection, tables and chairs. Vendor stalls are the size of a 10x10 tent. Display shelving, clothes racks, floor displays are allowed but must fit in your allotted space.
6. PAYMENT METHOD: Upon approval, payment instructions will be provided.
7. PRODUCT DONATION: A product donation with a minimum value of $25 is required in addition to the $50 vendor fee. Items must be dropped off at the Black Creek Community Centre prior to the event. ($5 value product donation for youth vendors).
8. REFUNDS: There will be No refunds, except in the event of a cancellation by the organizers. The organizers of the Black Creek Fall Fair and the Black Creek Community Association are not responsible for any loss, theft, damage, or injury to exhibitors’ property and persons. Exhibitors are responsible for any damage resulting from their participation in the fair.
