Outdoor Pavilion
In 2021 the BCCA was awarded the C.E.R.I.P. (Community Economic Recovery Infrastructure Project) grant by the government of British Columbia. The outdoor pavilion was completed in June of 2022 and has created a wonderful addition to the Centre’s facilities. The pavilion is a 65ft x 40ft open timber frame structure with lighting, electrical & 2 storage rooms. In October of 2023, a canvas enclosure was installed to help protect from the rain & wind during the winter season, making it a multi-purpose year-round facility. The enclosure is rolled up in the spring and brought back down in late fall. The pavilion is used for a variety of events, fitness classes and rented for private parties. It is also included in our wedding package, making it an ideal spot for the wedding ceremony. Playground & Picnic Area
In the Fall of 2019, we bid farewell to our old playground of over 30 years. Thanks to a significant grant from the BCAA Play Here Competition, numerous sponsorships, and a great deal of volunteer spirit and dedicated, we now have a new Public playground for all children and families to enjoy!

Courts & Fields
Outside you’ll find a softball diamond with bleachers, playing field, a fully fenced and lit road hockey and basketball practice area, double tennis courts (which include pickleball lines!) and a cement practice wall beside the courts. We have a Nature Trail through our adjacent woodlands, which also houses a Disc (frisbee) Golf course. Maps and score cards for disc golf can be accessed in the office. Please come during office hours to get copies.
